I'm trying to directly plug in a bass guitar into the input 5 with a 1/4 plug cord. (also, you had mentioned "5 thru 7"..did you mean to say 5 thru 8?...

okay, i downloaded the update from that page you linked to, as well as the DIGI MME and 'added' realplayer to the list. Then, i opened up realplayer to test it out and something different happened....
