digital is harsh, not just your recordings. there are ways around it, and tape seems to be the best at the moment.

oh believe me, i'm a huge analog fan. I just purchased an MCI 1" 8-track, I own a couple neve preamps, etc.... I just don't think that purchasing a huge expensive console will be worth it's price...
