yes, i clicked on "clean uninstall" this time. but not when I upgraded/installed it today the first time. you think that damaged some plug ins or so? (i just ran the installation file)

thanks everyone for all your help but sorry, now after trashing the prefs and such the problem is still the same plus now I get a bunch of fatal error messages while launching pro tools before it...

today I upgraded my pro tools from 7.3 to 7.4. (on mac osx tiger 10.4)
but after the installation now the software wont open anymore. i mean it wont...
