However, under My Products is listed Pro Tools First, but I can't find any information about what that product is, so I have a few questions?

I also had this issue trying to install a Fast Track Pro in windows 7. Windows would see it but Pro Tools M-Powered 9 would not. It does behave like a bug in the driver installation.

I ran across this same error that many other have but was able to fix it.
Still this indicates a BUG in the driver installation software.
