So far, the way I've been able to do rectify this issue it to create a brand new session, run it at 44.1. and then when I import audio files into it, click CONVERT and choose a "source...

I was always under the impression that if I had "low latency monitoring" checked, things were great!! Apparently this is far from the case.

As far as I can tell, it is now "fixed".

I have updated the "firmware", set my buffer size to 64 and set the plug-in that I had strapped to the master fader to "inactive".

Hey Ned . . . I've got 6 Gig of RAM on this thing but as you probably know, I can only access 4 of it with Pro Tools LE. I think that aspect is okay as well.
