I can't recall what might cause greyed out plugins, but for CPU errors...

There is always the possibility of buggy plugins, or something missed in optimizations, but yes there have been problems....

Doh, thanks for that, it probably explains it. I'd have to see more, but I hope you could mess with it enough to be able to dedicate some channels/faders to monitoring--duplicating monitored inputs...
