I'm on Mac, so looks like an issue that affects both, depending on the scenarios.

I tried that with the crash issue in 12.8.1 and it still persisted, yeah. We and the tech support guys tried going back to the earliest version there was in AAX format.

I installed 12.8.2 on a freshly trashed set of prefs, but I will try restoring them again with PT Prefs.

As for Guitar Rig, I will try and see what I can work out with it, but it's an intermittent...
