True, but why put up with the quirks.

Dont forget that Pro tools (the software) is pretty damn good. Your basically using the DSP cards and missing out on a lot of excellent features.

Yes. I run Live and Cuase with core audio drivers, no probs at all. The same would apply with Logic.

Glad to hear your facility will have Live though. I cant help it, I just love that program

IMO, a far more useful piece of kit to use which does the same thing, and a lot more is Ableton Live. Currently at version 4 but you dont really need that if all you want to do is loop basic stuff....
