Re: First NTK experience bitter-sweet. Advice needed

Re: Can\'t get Mackie Baby HUI to work with 6.1

Uninstall your hardware, uninstall PT and reinstall. Im not sure if they updated the ASIO driver to include MIDI, but MIDI on the 001 with 5.3 will not work if you have that driver installed. PTs...

Re: transfert from Tdif to digi001

Nope - TDIF is not compatible with the 001. FOr one, it is transmitted via a 25 pin D-sub connector. That format selection refers strictly to S/PDIF - Has nothing to do with the ADAT ins. An...

Re: transfert from Tdif to digi001

You need a format converter - I think the RME box would do it (AD-I-8) or get a tdif card (cheap) and use a program other than PT to do the transfer.

Re: Mono Mix Monitor Technique (in-the-box)

Re: Creating more complex loops

Although I am a loop neophyte, I came up with a relatively cool way to use fruity loops for creating some pretty hip loops: I start in PT with a good set of drum sounds from a session. Select...

Re: Spectrum Analyzer

That friggin PAZ thing is almost worthless for spectral anlyasis, though! Why on earth don't they offer a bar-graph type readout? trying to pinpoint transients on that thing is impossible.
