I've been getting this error message and can't seem to figure out what is causing it. I've seen a few people ask about it. Has anyone ever resolved the issue?

It says it might be a sync problem....

Ok. That fixed it. I was correct in my earlier assessment. ProTools 8 can't run Xpand 1.0. It includes Xpand 2.0 which I (unknowingly) downgraded to when I ran the installer for it. :rolleyes:

I'm starting to think that I downgraded my Xpand by installing v1.0.3. The more I read on the topic, the more I real realize that Xpand 2.0 was included with ProTools 8. It has been such a long time...

Tried again today. No dice. Updated to 1.0.3, I get sound an all of the menus are clear. The GUI is just distorted and yellow.

Not sure what to do as I've done everything I've found on these...
