Let me drop the bomb on this. Once the code is m1 or higher only, pcie 3 won’t be supported, and pcie 4 even though implemented, currently is not being used. Sonnet won’t support pcie 4 as well, not...

What if they try to pull a fast one with pcie. They did it with pci in the past leaving those cards hard to upgrade without a chassis. Fool me once. They could always come up with some other jalopy...
