I was thninking the same thing. I know you can edit CC number and such like a normal tewmplate but Novation tech support told me that the HUi protocol can only use infinite encoders for editing plug...

Yeah the PT Automap uses the HUI protocol which is supported by Digidesign so anythig using that protocol will be able to write automation using the controller in the normal way. But any controller...

Yeah I suppose all that can be done is to use the dreaded feature request form.

Yeah you can create user templates for the VI's but they will not operate like the HUI template when writing...

Word from Novation is that this automation writing behaviour results from using a controller that is not supported by Digi, hence why automation can be written normally with the PT HUI Automap...

1. Digidesign was not interested in working with Novation to create an Automap which would allow instant switching between plug-in...

Yeah it would not be such a problem if the controllers could be renamed. Unfortunately I would guess that this sort of of feature would be towards the bottom of Digidesigns upgrade list. I never seen...

Yeah I am aware of and using the Automap. I have no problem automating plug-ins such as Waves, DigiRack etc. using HUI Automap mode with the SL. It behaves in the same way as when writing automation...

I am using a Remote SL MIDI Controller. I find this problem occurs with all VI's including all Native Instruments ones, which I use most (B4 II, Pro 53, FM7 etc.)

I suspect it is not related to...

Im actually asking this question for a friend of mine who recently got an MBox 2.

He has found that he can hear playback from WMP and such but cannot hear playback from the internet...
