if part of the file is being used in the session the whole audio file will be kept.
after doing 'select unused' from the audio regions list if you still want to clear more space then you can compact...

maybe it's time for some new monitors

for the kick i usually pull out the mud around 300Hz .. if it needs more weight add a bit at 100Hz & attack is more like 5k or an octave above (10k) ......

have actually just found a work around when using reaktor as an rtas instrument ... if i enter some midi...

on the pc reaktor either wants to see an asio audio driver or an mme audio driver.
i have tried both, using digidesigns supplied asio driver and by using rail's mme...

it might be worthwhile disabling 'automatic restart on system failure' (system properties > startup & recovery > settings) ... then at least you'll get to read the blue screen so you can find...

hi again Henrik,

the only other thing i can think of is that you are running ACPI ... usually laptops run better in standard pc mode ... mine wouldn't run LE at all as ACPI! might be worth doing...

i used a boot manager called OSL2000 (http://www.osloader.com/)
it's shareware ... which means it's a free download and only bugs you with a single nag screen when booting (no biggy) ......

the pace driver thing is a service pack 2 issue ... you won't need the upgrade with service pack 1 ... and 6.4 will be fine ......

i am having the same issue with the reaktor demo
can't get it to see the 001's midi ports either as standalone or rtas
same deal as with shame69, digi midi works with other programs stand alone...

make sure they are highlighted first then quantize.

i don't wanna copy everything on that note so i'd lasso instead of ctrl/shift clicking (pc) ... but putting an extra note on the grid before the notes i want to...
