I'm not up to snuff on the "data" sent via the SPDIF format.

However an SPDIF RCA cable is nothing more than coax wrapped in a lot of insulation with RCA ends attached.

For all I know there may be one that supports dual monitors.

However, they are relatively inexpensive in a single monitor unit. Why not use two ?
