Re: "Unable to see Hardware" Even though I can play .wavs through my 002

I was able to fix the problem by uninstalling PT and all drivers. Then I reinstalled with the full installer and everything seems to be working fine.

Thanks

Re: going from 64bit to 32bit

Do you want to take the computer back just because it isn't "supported" by digi? If so, I would recommend that you at least install protools on your 64 bit version of Vista first (it doesn't take...

Re: Pro-Tools 7.4 LE working on 64 bit vista!

I have had Vista 64 working with my 002 rack and PT 7.4 since it came out. I have NO issues. But, I only have 4 gigs of ram. I am not sure what would happen if I went over the 4 gig ram limit of a 32...

Re: best trackball mouse for pro tools?

Re: trashing prefs

Did someone with a Mac tell you that you should trash your Prefs? "Trashing" your prefs is not a common PC practice, but it is sometimes a Mac fix.

Re: Anyone using i865 or i875 chipsets?

Thanks for your reply weed. I think I will just go for it. I probably won't do it for a couple of weeks, but that should give me some more time to do research. I was considering AMD, but I have...

Anyone using i865 or i875 chipsets?

Hey there. I did a search and couldn't find anything about this. I am putting together a new system (my PIII 1Ghz is a little outdated) and I was wondering about i865 or i875 chipsets. I know the...

Re: 6.1 - Pleasant Surprise

6.1 is working great. I used to get a low mem error every time I first played a session in 5.3.1, now it is smooth and stable. That vertical selection is great as well.

Some negatives that I have...

Re: Death Metal Vocals/Growl???

I think a few of them use a SM 58 or 57, and "cup" the mic. Not necessarily put the mic in there mouth, but kind of form an envolope with their hands around their mouth. I have recorded a couple of...
