Contemplating renewing my PT 12 subscription...but

They are all tools in the box and if you need it pick it up for sure. I love Pro Tools. Again I’ve tried nearly all of them. For me Pro Tools is a must for me.

You could try stepping down a version & give that a try (3.3.1 and on down till you find what works) that’s what I did.

I’m not sure why there would be problems with Windows 10 though, because...

By Softkey are you referring to the one lonely button in each corner of the surface?

It works that way, but I have an Artist Control and the touchscreen buttons for automation are non responsive....

Well Eddie guess what! Shucks, if I lock 8 faders to tracks, the surface will still bank as it should on 3.7!

C’mon though I’m running an older version of EuControl with an older version of PT....

I also have another Mac with Pro Tools 10 and I installed EuControl 3.7 so we can use it as a test subject.

As I said, I would run 3.7 but the meter thing is a big deal for me. I’m weird like that...

Yeah.. strange.. I would run 3.7 but it won’t run properly on OS X Mavericks & any version higher than 3.3.2 the meters on the Artist Series are not visible.

You know Eddie, that sounds spot on! I currently have 8 faders assigned to tracks.

I just tested it & yes if I remove 4 assigned tracks, the controller will now bank by 4.
