Also note: in the first post the protools throws an error when opening the file, but crashes when importing. So sometimes protools does something useful, but sometimes it doesn't!

I am ever wrong? Sure!

But this is exactly my point, whats wrong with desiring that before protools opens a file they perform some basic checks to determine if the file is in tact rather then...

Look, your argument is week. There are TONS of variables a typical audio engineer has to deal with. In this and every case less is more. That's what technology / computers do, they solves problems....

Any half assed noob programmer should be able to implement a basic MD5 checksum to verify file integrity before causing catastrophic data loss, cause they were too lazy to throw an exception instead...

I bought an Novation Controller which is awesome for controlling plugins. However, until UAD plugins operate without a wrapper you may be challenged to get this to work.
