If you're stuck and desperate, try this...

Freshly formatted drive.

Remove the 256 meg stick of RAM.

DON'T use the SIIG controller card.

Can you borrow a different video card?

Phil O'K had a few problems using the Matrox with the 002 (but on the A7N8x).

Try moving the firewire card to a different slot maybe....

Just be aware that the A7N8x doesn't always like the Matrox cards (when using PT).

Phil O'Keefe has been through that with his setup. Check his posts on the subject.
