Likewise I'm very happy I traded up to the S3. Just the face that the track LEDs match the color of the tracks in the DAW helps me find things so much faster. The second row of encoders is great...

No... you're absolutely right. I wasn't aware that structurally you can join together multiple S1s together so that they look like one integrated unit. I stand corrected.

THIS! Exactly. Or live it up and get TWO Mix units and connect them together. The way you could join the two to form on larger unit was cool. Wish Avid engineered that into the S1.
