I have been Windows free for 20 years.

What I can tell for sure is I can open same sessions than 2013 thrashcan w/64GB memory and it is safe to say this 16GB is just as good as 32GB memory on...

I have a fully loaded M1 mac mini here and waiting for a fully loaded M2 macbook air in few weeks. Sorry, have nothing to report but the bottleneck currently seems to be lack of native software.

I have M1 mini here as a testbed and M2 air ordered. Both fully loaded, and both useless in PRO session as without native software risks are still too...

Memory Pressure, yes. And if you want a number, only one that you should be interested in is Swap Used. So long as it is zero, adding more memory is not helping.

When you prepare to record, route your amp sim track to another track and record it (this is called print-to-track method)....

it is a sampling rate mismatch and you can verify it by trying to tune a track and see that the plugin confirms your hunch. if tuning plugin says the track is spot on, clear your ears

Unfortunately yes, it is normal for Kontakt and Korg which are not really AAX plugins but instead VST with a wrapper. Rosetta only makes it worse as it is yet another emulation layer.

Don't tease yourselves, a home-made replica hardware sounds way better than emulation plugin and has so called zero latency. I don't get it why peope paid 495 for the plugin back in tdm days

In my experience Apple is spot on when they do what they do. But these patches work, albeit I would not use them for pro work. Some more years for old gear, but that is it.
