are you running 8.0 or 8.0.1?
on 8.0 my issue was it would always crash the first time i opened it.
on 8.0.1 that only issue seemed to be that cursor problem.

I do. its sort of gets skippy during playback. It did this for me on 10.6 with 8.0.1 maybe its something 10.6.1 has changed?

Is your cursor not jumpy upon playback?

that update doesn't bring out any support for snow leopard. Even if it doesnt get qualified for a few weeks, it would be nice to see an update to fix some of the bugs beforehand.

How did you revert back? full uninstall and reinstall?
