I just got a Digi 002. I used to have a Digi 001 and would make all the tracks go through Audio 1 or whatever so I never had to switch my mic around...I recorded things one at a time and only use...

safe to assume intel based macs will be supported?

I'm seriously considering the purchase of a 24" iMac. It seems that Digidesign's support of the new Intel macs is troublesome, at best...or am I wrong? If plug-ins will eventually adapt and so will...

Anyone here using an iMac 24" or any of the other sizes with PTLE? If so did you get any of the upgrades? Are the memory upgrades worth the money? It's about $175 to change from 1GB RAM to 2GB...

I can't seem to find the Getting Started With Your Digi 001 guide...where the serial number is located. Can I still call Digidesign technical support to get it or am I supposed to do something else...

Setup is as folows:

Mac Sawtooth G5...OS 9.2.1

1 gig RAM
Sonnett 1GHz processor
System Hard Drive is 30 gigs
Audio Hard Drive is 120 gigs

I've also been using a non-Apple mouse/keyboard...

Just installed PTLE 6.4 on Windows XP Home edition. When I try and open PTLE for the first time...computer immediately turns off and restarts.

FWIW, I followed the directions on page seven of the Getting Started with Your Digi 001 guide...

In Memory Control Panel I: Set Virtual Memory to Off...Set Ram Disk to Off...Should I set the Disk...

Computer has a gig of RAM, 1GHz Sonnett, 1 brand new 30 gig system hard drive with 9.2.1 installed on it, 1 brand new 120 gig hard drive which I plan to store the audio on.
