Did 12.8.1 finally do the trick? I haven't upgraded yet, but have been experiencing the same problem since we upgraded our post studios to 12. I'd love to go back to hitting 'f' instead of cmd-f....

I'm still having this same issue. Running PT 12.7.0 on Mac OS 10.11.6. Would also love to see batch 'F' working properly, as it's a keyboard shortcut that I use constantly in my post work.

We've had decent experiences using Waves Surround to upmix, but we'd also do a similar mono workflow as described above, especially for dialogue and narration. UM did some lovely subtle enhancement...
