Mbox studio latency

As a USB interface, how is the latency compared to firewire or thunderbolt interfaces? Do you have to use a zero latency monitor option like on old interfaces?

Incidentally, I tried manually installing the driver in Ventura. I got it to install and it shows up in the system preferences but no sound. The control panel app is 32 bit so I knew it wouldn't work...

I got it working and used it for a project. I really liked the programmable button. Overall it is a great interface and it is too bad that they have ended support for it.

So when I get home tonight, I will reinstall and then go to the security settings. And that should do it. I think when I installed my Motu drivers it did ask me. So this would make sense.

Oh, absolutely. I used PT9 on Mavericks for a while. Zero issues. Unsupported usually just means untested. And sometimes supported still has issues.

To be honest, that is the #1 reason I always spend 5 minutes on windows and don't go back. I have installed Pro Tools on windows many times and just can't stand the captive edit and mix windows.
