i installed pro tools 11.3 on 10.8.5,then decided i also wanted 10 for old sessions. i went thru the pt 10 installer 3 times and each time it says "successfully installed" but only the pt 11 icon is...

Example. I have time signiature of 7/8,5/8,3/8 sequencially and i would like to duplicate it instead of going thru the timeline and re-entering each time sig.

I'm starting to get used to just going straight to the playback settings as soon as i open the book and just changing the buffer from 512 and back to 1024 then hitting "ok" as part of the routine...

Well... It is quicker too just spaz the computer than to re-boot. Its just really nice how i can do this all day long, or even have a project open for days and just open the book and work in logic....

Weird thing...everthing went fine on my other macbook pro.
It created an aggregate device and just wirked from the start.

I ceated an aggregate device. I can't get into pro tools to do any other settings as it wont allow me due to the posted error message.i also trashed prefs.

Updated to 8.0.4
That took care of the jerky play head. My energy saver ( sleep) was already set to never and so was the drive.
Still having the same problem.
Does pt9 have this issue?

i recently upgraded to snow 10.6.6
when my playhead does move it's jerky as all hell and very inaccurate.
i'll do some updateds and reset my prefs.
i'll get back to you...

also happens when i close my laptop and wake it back up.
does PT9 have this problem.
i have no issues with logic when i do this.

i'll be working on a session and when i take a break and leave the system on and protools open for over 10 minutes the play head will not move but the audio will play.
this happens on both my tower...

Pt8 will not work on my MacBook pro/ snow lepeord 10.6.4
I need to resort to logic pro 9.
How do I download just the core audio driver so that I can use the mbox for logic.
Pro tools messes up...

mac pro quad core 2.66
9 gigs of ram.
what else do i need to make this work?
