I learnt it the hard way, did software update to 10.3.3, and protools couldnt start. Call my digidesign dealer and he told me protools 6.4 is out, downloaded it.....and it worked! No crashes...

I use 002r with G5. I say get it now. I'm a believer of getting the computer "now" then to wait till it's cheaper etc. the wait will never end.....just my own opinion. Plus I dont have any problem...

Same thing with me, I use waaay more than 32 tracks all the time. I do alot keyboard stuff, and if you got strings, piano, pad, Egtr, Acgtr, backing vocals, and drums....stereo on each of the keys...

I tried what u said, in theory it should work, but somehow it didn't. The midi led is showing midi input in my PC midi interface, but somehow its just not syncing, I gacve up, so i striped timecode...
