my mbox mini is plugged into to a powered USB hub to the Mac book pro and has been my most workable setup in about 2 years ;)

i was getting numerous issues with mbox 2 mini with PT 8.03 and also with Logic 9 on Mac book pro i5 system

surprisingly i have had no issues...

i fixed my Mac Book pro 15" I5 with Mbox2 mini problem by connecting it to an Irocks powered USB hub

everything is running smoothly now Pro tools Logic rewire no errors no crashes just pure music...

PT & Performance and Transfer Vols

with these options of setting Playback Record and Transfer Volumes

am i right in thinking i can demount the C drive and any other drives i don't want to use for playback and recording pro tools...

i was getting these same DAE (9073 i think) with a stem mix i was using to test my PT 8 upgrade which had me stumped for a while

errors stopped when i edited the stems by removing all the silent...

just ordered PT8 today just looking through the reference guide and i
can't find any reference to interfacing with Reason or Ableton Live

is this still available in PT 8 ??

then maybe your screensaver is set to xp default ten mins

i have a HP zd8000 laptop i now only use this as an FX Teleport server for my main DAW

but i do remember trying to connect this through my main mixer 1st through the built in sound...

try deleting the digidesign databases on all drives

i do this before every Pro Tools bootup after reading on here somewhere

and i still don't know why these databases are created on all...

with PT LE 7.4 running


seems to be fine with this, no DAE or buffer errors but only really used for mixing audio,

then distressed when plagued with all that buffer...

The Workspace browser

is it recommended/possible to remove the system drive from here using unmount volume option

as i have 2 Audio Drives plus a Samples Drive

so do not require the system drive as Playback record...

I import audio 5 drum loops import

i then go Track>Group PT collapses and Computer reeboots


anyone else getting this



no other problems so far just this one which i can continually...
