The plan was to have videosync act as the satellite, PT as the admin, an option videosync offers. But well, it seems that doesn't work over here. I gave up on it. Not sure if it's the missing paid...

Hi Rich

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately - at least in my PT 8 - using the zoom tool and pressing Command does not change the TRACK HEIGHT. Only horizontal zooming, track height stays the same....

Why is it not possible -like in Logic- to use the zoomer tool to pick an area (using the "rubber band" with mouse button pressed or the mousewheel) and the display zooms to EXACTLY this area...

PROBABALY :rolleyes: solved:

Create new session (16 bit), Import session data (choose all data needed) -> create new tracks .... PT seems to dither every audiofile down to 16 bit when importing...

Yes you're right, I described it the wrong way around reg. PT... same here of course ( up = in).
But problems stays: in LOGIC it's the other way round, so no chance to get "used"...

I'm using a number of third-party mouses (Speedlink etc).

Whats driving me nuts is that ProTools and Logic (I use both daily) have exactly OPPOSITE ways of zooming when I use the mouse wheel.
