just for the record, trying the mp3 export v1.0 didn't work either. i called tech support and they suggested i re-download pro tools FREE. i did it...it worked...VOILA! i have an mp3 encoder. ...

ok...i see...it didn't say v1.0. but the one i downloaded was definitely the export file the digidesign customer service rep sent me to when i inquired about where to find the conversion tool. is...

i downloaded the mp3 export plug-in today (and no, not the MP3 Option) and replaced my mp3.dll file as it instructed...but no dice...it won't work. i'm getting an mp3.dll error when i try to bounce...
