I get the same thing - a dropout when switching patches. It is very short - but can be unnatural. I also look for spots to change between presets - but there are some songs when say a lead break...

I have had my 11R for about 15 months. I have been using a Lead 800 patch for probably the past 10 months or so. To me, it just sounds/feels the best.

That said, I read a post on the AVID forum...

Another thing to consider is what is in the signal chain of your rig. It could be that whatever is in front of the loop is creating a really hot signal.

A test you can try is to move the loop...

I don't use a processor per say - but I do have a few external pedals... which sort of fills the same purpose in theory.

I use a TU-2 tuner, DD-20 delay and TR-2 Trem in the ER fx...

If I'm already using a LP filter at say 6.1kHz do I need to concern myself with a 7.9kHz cut? I plan to test this on my own when I get a chance - but in theory shouldn't...
