MBP 17\" not working well with PTLE

Hi,

My boss just got a 17" MBP and we took it out with the MBox to record a lecture on campus. About ten minutes into the recording, the recording stopped, saying that I had run out of CPU power....

As far as I've heard, it's not officially supported (version 5 is i think), but the tech support guy said it might work. However, might is a rough word when you're talking about hundreds of dollars...

Well, if you don't mind waiting... I'd wait until June/July to see what Digidesign comes up with at NAMM. The "patch" for Tiger might end up being Pro Tools 7, and you might get left out in the cold...

I think in your case it'd be great to have something like the digital 192 especially making it modular so you could pick what kinds of i/o you want. For us PT users who just rely on the onboard...
