That explains the no input, but why would I not be getting sync or any audio when I am connected from the output of the Matrix studio directly to my Headphone box that takes optical?

Yes Pro tools will embed the track names that are being bounced to a Poly BWF. for instance when bouncing to poly wave a file name

Loop Sync appears to be working Fine. The 192 follows all Sample rate changes with the Symphony MKII and both digilink cables work fine as the 192 works with both as long as the apogee isn't hooked up
