I'd seriously look at either the Alesis Studio 32 or Allen & Heath Mix Wizard.
Both of these boards offer 16 TRUE Direct out's, the A&H has 16 MIC PRE's with 4 band EQ w/ 2 sweep mid, but it dosn't...

From what I understand, Firewire and USB drives are not suported but I did hear that ATA drives will be, you can add more internal drives (I think the G4 can handel more than 1 ATA drive my G3 400...

Try setting the DAE buffer size to 2, 4 or 8

I had a B&W G3 300 and now I have a B&W G3 400, and they both crash on the DIGI INIT. If it crashes, the next boot will work :P
I tried everything brad has listed here to no avail and I find it...

I cant imagine Digidesign switching over to Free Midi at this point...since they already implemented OMS into all versions of PT's ...Even 5.0
