I'm using protools le(mbox)...Can you take a sample for a record then somehow filter the words out so your left with the music only???

i have my mpc and alesis midi together and the audio going thru my mixer...so i come out of the 2 outputs of the mbox but what do i go into as far as input(s) into the mackie 24x4? b/c i'm unable to...
