I have looked at iLok manager and performed the sync/repair. Still no luck.
Also updated original post with hardware etc.

I tried updating all of the drivers I possibly could but still...

Thanks for your reply but Pro Tools doesn't load far enough to be able to change the playback engine. I have also tried launching it without hardware plugged in, it gives the unable to locate...
