just looked for the trim mode in PT 10 and I can't find it anywhere.
In Pro Tools 9 you could just access it under the automation modes.

I'm in classic mode right now.

The keypad is a Targus and it says to be compatible with Mac.

Checked on the OSX internal virtual keyboard what it recognized.
