How do I connect a 5-pin MIDI cable to my Avid I/O? I have an 8x8 without a digital card. If I get a digital card, what type of ports does the snake expose? The piano only has the 5-pin connector.

Once I have the channel just how I like it in Pro Tools I need to route that channel to unsophisticated broadcaster software running on my computer. The question is how to do it?
