You rock, Aaron! Resetting the Keystation Pro 88 (I purchased it used) to the factory settings as per your link fixed the problem.

Only have one keyboard. Can I enable my qwerty keyboard to trigger? But again, the Keystation Pro 88 seems to trigger samples correctly via USB when I record but won't play back properly so I doubt...

Yes, I've tried all that. The Bryston is dead quiet w/o C8 in line. But I did try it in rack, out of rack, ground lifted, using another amp, tried powered Genelec's - same hum/buzz....

I am the original owner, but it's long out of warranty. I never used the rear outputs until recently. I had a StudioComm DAW interface previous to now having an MCI JH636 console!

Somehow, the issue is worse now. Drives won't dismount after quitting PT.

So I shutdown, remove external FW drive, won't restart. Hard shut down, remove cards, restarts ok, shut down again,...

Trashing the prefs via the app from the link made it properly dismount via the Workspace, but still no restart with drive still connected.

Tried a different drive, a newer LaCie, same thing.
