hmm.. I am using Berhinger speakers. I'll look into the ground loop issue. Although not sure why this would be suddenly happening since upgrading to new computer (MacBook Pro)

Even with the pre's all the way down, the high-pitched pulse is still there..

High pitched pulse

Using the Digi CoreAudio I'm getting a high pitched pulse whenever I turn any audio app on (including Pro Tools 7.3.1)

Anyone have any clues about how to stop this?

Mac OS X.4.8 on MacBook Pro...

I'd highly recommend re-installing X.2.8 but using the Combo Installer. This will overwrite potentially corrupt files. You should certainly also fix your permissions using the Install Disk.

Changing sounds of Click in PT 6

In PT 5 one could rout the click track to Quicktime Musical Instruments for different sounds. Is there a way of doing this with PT 6?
