I actually did a pretty in-depth search in this forum and did not turn up an acceptable answer. I also downloaded and read the entire MTRX studio manual which also did not turn up a definitive...

So HD I/O, Carbon, and a host of 3rd party interfaces (Apogee, Lynx, etc..) can do hardware insert delay compensation correctly, but Avids flagship professional converters can’t?

This thread is confusing the hell out of me.

Does the MTRX Studio do automatic (analog) hardware insert delay compensation over digilink the way an HD IO does? And more importantly, does it also...
