It gets messy on comping. There are bugs that don't let both track comp within their own playlists like they should when linked edit is enabled for the group.

This has been the case since PTHD9....

When Avid BF'd all their HD users for the HD9 to HD10 upgrade I sold my HD9 for $350 and bought HD10 for $675. My "upgrade" price was $325 instead of $1000.

If so, I'll be able to work at least the next year with PTHD10 for tracking and PTHD11 for mixing without having to decide whether to dump everything (including PT). If it works...

Haven't seen any confirmation. Being as PTHD10 and PTHD11 can be installed simultaneously, can my HD interface be used under CoreAudio or Aggregate in PTHD11 so I really can run both systems?

HDX latency is slightly higher than TDM (IF using the same interface), but essentially the same concept and usefulness as its older counterpart. Definitely superior latency to Native.

I suppose I'm sensitive to latency, but that 8ms is without plugins and the safety buffer off. There's "phasing" at 8ms anyway on vocals and such, and it just feels "off".
