To fix the "No Recordable Volume" error, you need to start ProTools then go to "Window" and "Show Workspace." Then click to make sure the A and V settings on your hard drive is set to "R"

Same here... I keep getting the error message "Session must be on an audio record volume" whenever I try to record or open a new session. I have a brand new Dual 2.5 G5 and two Lacie Firewire 250Gb...

Regardless of whether you knew about the compatibility issues beforehand, or jumped onto Tiger blindly, or had no choice in receiving a Mac system with Tiger pre-installed... it's STILL an agonizing...
