Audio Files cut off on import

I've the problem when importing mp3 files into pro tools that nearly the last second of the file is missing- cut off!
When I listen to the audiofile in the import window it sounds normal and is not...

Bouncing to quicktime movie doesn\'t work

when I bounce to QuickTime movie, the bounce contains audio only.
can anybody help me?

Iam using G5 Dual 1,8GHz DIGI002, PT 7.1 Mac OSX 10.4.6
