tab to transient..

where is it in PT8? I used to jump from transient to transient (very useful for drum editing) with tab and it doesnt work in PT anymore..?

I'm on PT 8.0.4 and there is no tab called "open unresorced TDM plug ins as RTAS"....

ok that sounds interesting... how can I find out which one is rtas and which one is tdm? are there always 2 plugs of each plugin in the plugins folder? rtas and tdm version?

I'm opening a LE session in HD - in the LE session of course only rtas but as soon as I move to HD all rtas plugs turn into tdm plugins and thats kinda weird... I'd prefer to have them in RTAS in HD...

I mixed 5 Songs on my LE system and tried to open those mixes in the studio on my HD3... not enough voices..!! with 128 voices on 4 chips

so how can I properly...

there are NO files in the session missing so it must...

I was mixing a session - reopening it one day later everything works but no sound out at my master fader - I erase the master fader re-import it from the same session and the sound is back - never...

How much RAM is enough?

I'm mainly mixing big sessions with lots of plugins and some VI's - how much RAM do you recommend to buy? I have a dual quad 2.8 mac pro with PT 8.0.3 on OS 10.6.2

at the moment I have 2 1MB chips...
