i tried re-installing just the 4gig PT installer for Mac and when i tried to install it i kept getting a box telling me to re-launch and it would not open it at all.

I'm not sure how to convert/import my cakewalk song from my pc to my mac. i was able to import the cakewalk tracks(not mixed down) as "wavefiles" into PT8, but they are all out of time and scrambled....
