I guess you mean the one attached? When I select User there's nothing to select, no way to set a path opens up, same for Factory. No idea, nothing in the regular preferences.

Never had an issue with that before, PT10 works fine, but will see if that helps. And yes, got lots of 3rd party plugins but it hangs before it does the 'scanning' of the plugins....

Thanks!! I'm on OSX 10.8.5 with a RME Fireface UFX via Firewire. Could try to use just the internal one?

Default settings on..no Elastic Audio, not in ticks...it's in samples. Hasn't happened since but since it happened at least twice on this album...not cool!

Hey Juan,

It's not a RAM issue, the clips have physically moved to a new location within the session (haven't touched the audio files itself though!). Just remembered the same thing happened a few...

That's what's somehow happening here. :/

I've been mixing a song for 12hrs yesterday, no problems, all fine. Take my computer home from the studio, open the same session today and the two tracks...

Thanks a lot, I found it but am not able to change it. I get this error message:

You don’t own the file “com.avid.ApplicationManager.plist” and don’t have permission to write to it.

No idea...

Same here. It seems like Avid wants you to run that thing by all means. :/ I wouldn't even mind having it, just not as an autostart / background thing.

Boo! I thought of trying that but the latest UAD installer requires me to update to a higher OSX. I was hoping for a quicker fix. :(
