Missing DSP plugins and Engine setup is wrong

We have 2 ProTools HDX mac systems running identical versions of
ProTools 10.3.10.

Recently one of them is not showing dsp plugin options and I get
this error message when opening a project:

We bought a perpetual license & hardware for 10 & 12 last year.

recently, we get "subscription license has expired" messages about 3 avid plugins we do use:

Thanks.

The drive was fine, there was a rare issue for some, where a 2 tb drive or larger would have messed up recording files once it was half full.

So we had a mac system with Pro-Tools 9 which is now upgraded and running 10 & 12.

At one time an engineer upgraded the audio drive, an internal 2tb disk when we were on 9. It got about half full...

in shuffle or slip mode...same situation.

ProTools 9 MAC:

When recording takes in sequence in the timeline, ProTools leaves a gap of 79-81 samples (at 44.1k)...

of the errors that shows, often is DAE 9162

clearing pro tools preferences and reseating all 3 HD Accel cards
and cables was recommended. I did that and made no difference.

well trashing those prefs didn't work. I was logged in
as both users and it made no difference.

I did find a workaround though for anyone else in my boat.

yeah thats what I had it set for and it has done this perfectly
for the last year, then today it just decided to come up everytime.

I have 2 other Accel 3 systems to do the heavy moving.

could you speculate as to how many tracks/tdm I could safely do with 1 card?
