It happens on both wav and mp3. If I increase the buffer size, the problem can disappear, but not yet tried it on enough tracks to see if having max buffer size - because that's what it is currently...

Bounce, both real time and off-line, appears problematic - the start is being cut off. I have to leave a gap before the track actually starts to bounce successfully.

Exactly the same here on same OS. Reinstalling the previous HD driver appears to have fixed it.

At least you got 2020.11 running. I installed, iLok license disappeared. Did complete removal and reinstall but, although I was able to reactivate the license, 2020.11 is unusable as it won't launch...

Happy to report that both Thomann and RSPE have had the confirmation from Avid that the deal does apply to online purchases outside the Avid store.

Yes, definitely. Two dealers I contacted have replied saying that they've had to contact Avid about this so, clearly, there is an element of uncertainty even at dealer level.

From reading the FAQs, my interpretation is that it is not clear whether buying the upgrade from anywhere else but the Avid store entitles you to the extended support plan.

I have phoned them; you cannot speak to a real person, only leave a message - to which they've not responded.

The dealers who I've emailed are on Avid's approved list so no problem there.

Since my original post I've upgraded to 10 courtesy a very favourable eBay deal - not Avid's lunatic upgrade price. All running fine on 10.6.8. HD Accel 3, PCI, Hackintosh.
