We have tried trashing preferences.

I will try moving all of the installed plugins to the unused folder and trying again.

This has been an issue with 2020.12, which we are stuck on for video output reasons.

I believe it happened a bit on the version we used prior, but not nearly as much.

For what it is worth, deleting these files had no impact on the frequency of the issue.

I am getting repeated 'Cannot Bounce to Disk due to Vector' or 'Cannot Bounce to disk due to std:exception' errors.

Quitting Pro Tool and relaunching the session solves this issue.

If you want the QT bounce function to work properly, which to me means not causing the issues that I noted above, you need to keep your OS below 10.14 for now.

Which OS are you on, because it makes a difference.

We are on 2020.12, because of the issues with video bounces in PT 2021.3+ and OS 10.15 (Different machines, BTW).

Source Nexus, at least the Pro version will do 7.1. You can also use it in Multi-Mono mode. I don't know how that will work with the renderer, however.

You aren't using a MTRX by chance are you?

We use the Send/Returns for ATMOS instead of the DAB, so we can set up returns to meter.

I have had this happen several times. It is because the database that AVID keeps of activations doesn't match your new serial number, etc...

AVID support is the only solve.

I believe that there is a stand alone component to VISLM. If so, you could probably send a source-nexus out to that without having to go back into pro tools.

This is what I have been trying to do here, with in IMF/CPL workflow. Getting buy in on it is surprisingly difficult considering how much manual labor it would save.
