The - pin of the C24 should be connected to the ground pin when connected to an unbalanced source or load. If it is left floating it will pick up noise, cause crosstalk, etc. This is applies to C24...

You should connect the - pin and the ground pin of the C24 together. If you let the - pin float it will pick up noise, cause crosstalk, etc. This applies to both the inputs and outputs of the C24.
